why do wipers on my jeep keep going when off?

ok what i was told is there is some modular that isnt good. can it be the relay switch. Have put 200.00 in and they still dont work.....cant trust anyone
 
Water has gotten in the control board or shorted out. Go to Autozone with the old board and they will swap it and sell you the replacement.
 
i havent pulled 1 apart in a while, but they have a cam inside of them to run through an up and down cycle, if it still is recieving power at the end of the cycle, it repeats.either a it cycles and shuts off, or b the cam stop is worn out.
