Serious. How long have we had a bunch of different races/ethnic groups here in the US and there is almost no mixing going on. Its just a reminder of the past to those who are looking.
I had a big argument with my boss's boss (who's black) right in an Intel cafeteria because he was bitching that people were cutting in line in front of him because he's black.
Just because YOU don't hear it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
I love when black people blame us for slavery then when we bring up the fact their people sold them they act like they were never taught that part in school
because white people never want to talk about the crimes they got away with
not to mention slavery wasn't the end of the end of racism. they were still lynching us 40-50 years ago. they still waged war on our communities in the 60's and 70's.
lol no, it's my parents generation that dropped the ball, son. They fought and died for shit and then just said fuck this, I'm gonna go work for the white man and make more money, fuck building
my family bidness.
Asking how old I am makes it clear you can't even read statements fully before you start to form your judgments. I clearly stated that I'm 23.
Since you are able to use your deductive reasoning so well to determine what the other guy meant. You should use your powers to ponder how years of oppression and lack of proper education can cause a 4 generation burden. If I'm correct you have a reputation on the forum for being thick-headed? Take your time, think openly about it. I mean it sincerely.
Even if generations prior to me were properly educated about personal finance it doesn't change the fact that they never learned useful skills(affirmative action jobs) or have never owned shit worth having. While there are exceptions that's the story in many instances.
Yes, thats another aspect of it that was unique..and not just americans either people never mention that it was the brits who put an end to the slave trade itself
and i dont think its all whiteys fault..but it does contribute.
