Why do white people get mad when black people bring up slavery?

My best friend lives in Kiriat Bialik and tells me how disgusted she is with how much the Jews refer to the holocaust. She says they throw it around just like the race card. I believe her
 
Probably because many white people had nothing to do with slavery. A lot of white families came over during the early 1900s and never had slaves. At least i think so, someone is welcome to correct me if i'm wrong.

Hey durabfuck. My father came here from Iran in the 70's. My mother is full blooded check where her grandparents immigrated here from Czechoslovakia. How did any of my ancestors benefit from slavery? That's what you black people don't seem to be able to comprehend. Very few white people in America have any ancestors that had anything to do with slavery.
 
I don't believe that civil war was fought over slavery at any point. They had their own reasons, and Lincoln just ended slavery as a way to screw over the south.
 
That is a pretty simplified version and you are partly correct. It was about state rights, but the states right discussion came up because of slavery. The south's economy depended on slavery and the north was slowly trying to get rid of it. The south threw a fit because without slavery their economy and way of life would collapse. You are correct in what you said but at the same time the states rights issue and slavery were one and the same.

Also Lincoln personally did not agree with slavery, but he was nominated for president because he was the most moderate and didn't believe in immediate emancipation. He wanted the government to slowly buy the slaves from the south in order to get rid of slavery. The emancipation proclamation was just a political ploy to try to encourage slave uprisings in the south and also to encourage northern blacks (which was a huge part of northern success at the end of the war) to join the union.
 
Germans were the last people let out of the internment camps, long after the Japanese. My family lost their homes when Allied forces borabed Haraburg. My family came to this country right after WWII when Germans where the most hated nationality. You don't hear me complaining that discrimination and war losses held me back.
 
Slavery is just another dark chapter in the history of the world and deserves to be discussed not only at black colleges or in small social groups but at every level of education and institution. If the schools were to truly discuss slavery, it's consequences, it's results and why it happened then I think the mentality of some will change. Some will not. Racism is immune to common sense and knowledge. Those who choose not to learn or educate themselves are doomed to repeat the failures of their own.

No, but if you think about it, there are direct effects from it.

Slaves were set free and then still oppressed in society, it made it hard to come up.

It was just an endless cycle that led up to today's levels of violence and craziness.
 
It's more the Africans fault than the whiteys bro. They are the ones who sold their people into slavery. In essence they are the ones that started the fucking slave trade, the whites just facilitated it.
