Why do we study economics?

i need some help...
i just have to~ well i guess you can say survey some ppl~ just to get an idea of what ppl think about Economics(just a couple questions*=).

it will help u with tax or future jobs.
Its has always ben important, now and then.
You should study economy, because we need a steady banking system.

In Economics there is some interesting topics like. National Income,Monetary values,Cost and Revenue,Demand adn Supply..MONOPOLY,OLIGOPOLY,taxation etc.
These Topics especially helps you understand businesses in a totally different way...The way that businesses operate...and how they get to work. (Monopoly,Oligopoly)

Yes i think so,cause so many things have change since the 1960.

I think it is important,cause it gives you a better understanding of whats going on in the economical world...And it helps you to understands decisions that was/is being made by the countries economists..

It also helps you to read,and understand info regarding the economy

I personally think that you cant go wrong at all with economics..
