Why do we always argue when I drink?

Me and my husband have been married for over a year and when ever I go for a drink with my neighbours and my friends we always seem to argue. We have 2 kids both under 5 and he always seems to be the sensible one who never wants to stay out with the others and have fun. He always makes out the arguments are my fault and seems to turn them round to me as if I am starting them. We are only 30 and there is more to staying in and watching films we are only next door after all!!!! I know sometimes he has work early but the kids like to play with their friends and I like to spend time with my mates as well. Is it me and should I be giving up the alcohol, am I being too clingy to a single life I really don't know any advice?

2 possibilities:

1. Your husband is too serious a person to enjoy anything fun, and views your little indulgence as something bad, and thus picks a fight with you everytime you drink.

2. You may have a little problem with your drinking without you knowing it yourself.

Have you tried discussing the issues with him? Becos it seems like you didn't.

Try to communicate with him. You both should work out a compromise
