why do two users have different torrent speed?

me and my friend have the same monthly internet package(though our service providers are different).but still there is a huge variance in our torrent speeds.he gets a 700 mb movie downloaded in just 40-50 minutes whereas the same would take hours in my pc..why is this so? we both use utorrent and even our direct download speeds are nearly the same..could anyone throw some light upon the matter?pls..
P.S. configuration of both our computers are same.
 
firstly,he might be downloading a file which may have many seeders,this helps,bcoz seeders are the people who are online and have a little or more part of the file you are downloading,they all share their files to each other,if all the file parts sharers are online together it may take half or even less than that of the original downloading tym,
another thing,net packs differ,he might be using a speedy internet connection,that wud have been helping him
 
It Is Mostly Depends On Your Internet Coverage In Your Area, Different Service Provider Gives Different Amount Of Speed In Downloading And Uploading
 
There are many reasons for this
1. Speed of torrent mainly depending on seeder, More seeder online faster the download
2. Even if direct download speed is similar changes in internet speed may cause this
3. Time of download is also a factor
4. Bandwidth allocation may cause major changes some time
5. Performance of PC is also a factor

There are lot of other minor factor which may cause this as well
