I bought a used 36" Sony Trinitron TV for my bedroom and it has to be the clearest brightest tv I have ever owned. Nice rich colors, and nice dark blacks. I have hd cable on the lcd, but this Sony with standard cable looks just as good if not better. This one is one of the high end ones, with the surround built in, and the audio quality blows away any lcd. I am not bashing LCDs but I was surprised that the Sony I got at a yard sale for $30 looks so much better than my $400 LCD. I'm about to put the Trinitron in the living room, and the lcd in the bedroom. Why do they look so great??
Why do the Sony Trinitron TVs look so great compared to a lcd of the same size?
