Why do the British suck at the sports they invented?

That's our thing.

Blindly supporting one person, in the hopes they will lead us to victory, before they inevitably crash and burn in the first round.

Andy Murray was good this year, but you know, I never get myself excited, like the hideously embarrassing "come on Tim" banners you saw in previous years.

There's nothing wrong with not coming first, if we were American it would be good enough that we tried - because we're British, we become the International Whipping boys.

suck at football, cricket, tennis and swimming to name a few
need to win wimbledon in the next 100 years.

but probably cuz all their funds are going to public healthcare.
