why do teens think its ok to have sex? than like a few days after they did the...

I understand what you mean, but as a teen I know the urges and how things are and FEEL.
In my opinion it's ok to have sex, as long as you use a condom and birth control each time and the two people be careful and care for one another.

1. your question is worded extremly rudely and people dont appriciate the rudeness, it comes off very hard to the people that have had sex as a teen, you have to remember to be nice.

2. Why do teens think its okay to have sex?
probably the same reason teens think its "okay" to break the law, by smoking drinking and possessing Marijuana, its a high, we all know its suposed to feel good, and we all want to try it... maybe not ALL of us, but most of us, most people cannot say that as a teen they never thought about sex, and most of those people wondered what sex was like, and in this case, curriosity kills the cat, A LOT. thats why we have so many teen pregnancies, teens refuse to get educated, they think they are 100% safe when they use a condom or are on birth control and thats not the truth, we are taught to believe that those things make you inviceable, and it really doesn't...

I hope this answers your questions but please, word them a little nicer, you need to watch out for your fellow peers when you write these and this question might make them feel bad.

to the man that answered below me that was a teen ager a "few short years ago" at the age of thirty and teenagers are not adults.... does he know it doesn't matter? LEGALY teens can have sex in my state after the age of 13! and LEGALLY with ANYONE over the age of sixteen ( besides anyone younger then 13)
how can you blame them when our law enforcement doesnt care?

I think it's okay if you use protection and proper birth control and have feelings for the person. Also, I agree that it's wrong for men to get one woman pregnant and then say "It ain't mine. You must have cheated." and then go onto another woman and then get her pregnant.

I totally agree. I am so sick of hearing and seeing young pregnant girls. Its stupid and immature. thanks for letting me know there is someone else out there who thinks the way i do.

I agree with you.

Contrary to popular belief, teenagers are not adults. I know. I was a teenager not too long ago, and now that I'm 30, I can tell the difference.

Sex and pregnancy are life-altering realities that should be saved for adulthood, when individuals have the resources to make thoughtful decisions and then take responsibility for their actions.

Sex is wonderful, but it's also a weighty issue. Instead of treating it seriously, though, our societies would rather make millions of pounds/dollars/euros exploiting it on entertainment that sends the message that sex is consequence-free.

That's not the real world, and it's not fair to our children that we present it that way.

i totally agree with you! teens AREN'T ready to have intercourse. they think they know everything and that if you use a condom or take pills, it's fine. but it's not. you can/t protect pregnancy 100%. if you decide to have sex, you're basically saying that you're fine with being a pregnant teen. besides, having sex when you're not at least 17 is just d*mn premature.
