Why do some sex toys turn black?

Maybe it's mold. Are they plastic or metal? Metal would react to the acid environment of the genital area.

Is one of the toys black? If so, and they're kept in the same box, the coloring may, indeed, leech out, or some sort of chemical reaction might be happening.

If, however, you have no black toys but they're turning black, something bad is happening, and I'd call the manufacturer.
