Why do some Republicans like to discuss irrelevant issues?

Before the election it was Ayers and Acorn, after the election it was the birth certificate. None of these were important and turned out not to be anything the voters were interested in. The birth certificate issue was and is a waste of time. Why can't Republicans move on to more important events?

The only place the birth certificate issue has come up is here on Y!A. I certainly haven't seen it on in the news media at all . . . either before or after the election.

Ughhh I hate that you are generalizing one specific group. As a Republican, I was never interested in the birth certificate issue. I didnt see what the issue was and I thought it was silly.

As for Ayers, I did see that as important. The man hates America and he did horrible things. He planned the bombing of the NYPD building in the city and two Rockland County,Ny cops were killed due to the WeatherUnderground in which he organized. He isnt a good person to associate with. I am not a radical, I just simply have common sense.

Why cant people like you think of better questions?

OK
Lets try

Why have democrats fought for years to preserve the corrupt way Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac gave below prime loans to unqualified borrowers?
Just look at what they said when Republicans pressed for MORE regulation.
I hope you will look at the video, it may open your eyes.
And by the way, Obama bought the election when he did not honor his promise to use only public funds for his campaign.
I hope his birth certificate is OK.
But ACORN is corrupt. Don't try to deny this.
That would be a waste of your time.
