Why do some people seemingly put more effort into eating than watching the film?

I haven't been to the cinema for 5 years.
And I always have a great time watching movies.
Pause. Make a cuppa. Toilet break. Answer the phone.
Great night in every time.

I went to the cinema the other day and the bloke in front of me was eating a curry! I've no idea where he got it from but it smelled delicious so I turned a blind eye to it.

To be honest I was more offended by the woman who took her shoes off and then rested her feet on the back of the seat in front of her.

I try not to eat at the cinima as im aware of how much noise i may make. Its like the quiter i try to be the more noise i make.
