...pepper spray? I've tried both, and while uncomfortable, the pain isn't THAT bad. I would much rather get sprayed in the face and eyes with mace OR pepper (capsaicin) spray rather than eating another couple jolokia peppers, which I have also done on a dare. THAT nearly caused me to choke due to throat irritation, and was overall a far worse experience.
And yet, if you watch videos of people being subdued with sprays or tasers, they often go into a screaming fit or something similar, as though it is the worst thing ever to have happened to them.
Why are they being so dramatic? There are far worse things in life than taking a couple prongs in the back or getting hit with some spray. I mean, have you ever had impacted and infected wisdom teeth? Now there's something worth crying about.
