why do some of my wireless devices work, while others cannot get a conection?

i have a bunch of wireless devices in my apartment :

mac desktop
mac laptop
2 Ipod
hp desktop
dell laptop
3 xbox

all of them seem to work perfectly except for xbox2 and xbox3. xbox1 will work every time guaranteed. every once in a while i can get lucky and all xboxs will work, but thats that's rare. i dont understand how some will connect and others cant. shouldnt they all work or not work together?
