Why do some games on my R4 Deluxe load to a white screen?

Title. For example, my sister and I downloaded Kirby Super Stars Ultra, and my rom worked while hers didn't. I have v1.20 and use a 2GB Micro SD card.
Some games include:
-Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008/2007 (both)
-Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadoure
