Why do some criticize church camps that make gay people straight?

My cousin went to one of those camps and I’m happy to report that he passed with non-flying black and white colors that are incapable of forming an arch in the sky. He went there and he hasn’t had a mustache since. He’s even lost the callous on his fingers received from years of snapping.

Some people say he’s been living a lie and he should be true to himself but he’s never been happier. You see, the Bible specifically says that when Jesus died for our sins God got rid of all 613 laws of Moses except for the one about being gay. It’s right in there, somewhere. That’s really the only reason why the Bible still comes with the Old Testament. Originally, the scribes were only going to make it one page, showing Leviticus 20:13 and then they were going to immediately jump to the New Testament.

Interestingly enough, there’s this new group of Jews (I assume they must be new because I’ve never heard of them before) and they actually accept Jesus. I think they’re called “Jews for the New Testament” or something. This is really refreshing because it’s going to make converting them a whole lot easier. After they get saved, my cousin and I are going to take some scissors and help them by doing some surgery on their Jewish Bible so we can get rid of every verse except for the ones that could be loosely construed as talking about homosexuals. My cousin may now be 100 percent straight, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy a little arts and crafts.

Anyway, why criticize straight camp?
