Doesn't the bible say "blessed is he who believes and does not see"
Isn't the christian way supposed to teach people to have faith instead of trying to prove God's existence.
There is not a single evidence any sound minded person would believe proving the existence of God.
You cannot say "I see an apple, therefore God must have made it."
or "The human being is so complex, God must have made it."

I have yet to hear a rational argument for belief in religion.

Reason has to do with intellect and perception has to do with instinct. If you notice in the gospels, the Pharisees always "reasoned among themselves" but the apostles always "perceived he was meaning". The understanding of the spiritual realm is not an intellectual exercise but one of spiritual perception. Finding proof for God is noble and I think a reasonable person should look for it but it is not necessary to make a person believe.

Could you make a rational argument why the one girl you looked at and fell in love with was any different to the others? To you it would be black and white but to the world it would seem it could just as well have been her friend.
