Some may be jealous. If you consider that he had the biggest contract ever, a few years ago. Some may have wanted Alex on their team. Also, being a Yankee, he is involved in the biggest rivalry in baseball. If you consider the fact that those who don't have a team, will generally split between the front runners, you need to choose between the Yankees and the Red Sox. It doesn't matter how good other teams have been.
Personally, I would have liked to seen Alex come to my team when their was all the controversy as to him being a Yankee again or not. I do however think my teams pockets are empty.
