i know what you mean. these young kids make their cars loud and they think they can beat everything on the road just because it,s loud. no i,am not 1 of those guys! i,am getting too old for that stuff but i have seen young kids on the road trying to race me but i just let them go. i know a few of them are laying in the grave because they thought they knew everything. i had some fast cars in my time would leave them sitting. if i had my 69 mercury cyclone, 390 4 barrell slap stick i would show them what fast was about. kids today never saw fast. those cars in the 50s, 60s and 70s would get away from them.

Why do so many young guys think their cars are so fast?

This is probably because they fail to check and see that the smaller MPH readings, under the KPH readings, actually display the fact that their foreign KPH cars are slower than the original MPH muscle cars of the 50's,60's and 70's. After all, Sir; 100KPH is no where near 100 MPH.

Speed is relative.
If they've never driven a "fast" car, then what they are driving is fast.
And unless you've driven an indy car, or a nascar car, then what you have driven, is also not fast.
And compared to some of the aircraft I've flown in, all cars are very slow.
So what's your point?
Their cars aren't harming you. So you're annoyed by them. So what? If you're sick of racing them, then DON'T. It's not like it's that hard to not step on the gas pedal and make an idiot out of yourself.
But if you want to participate, then don't complain, unless you like being a hypocrite.

Because they have never driven a fast car. A civic with crappy exhaust and an air intake is still a slow car. Im sick of racing these fools and wasting my gas for no reason. Are you one of these guys? have you ever driven a real car? All show and no go?

LOL at the guy mentioning KPH and MPH. Funny. I've shopped for Hondas before, and MPH was definitely the larger number, with tiny KPH under it. Nevermind that many Hondas, Acuras, etc, are made in the USA.....and are not "foreign".
