I don't understand it. Why would you be against regulating the Internet to ensure you have equal access to all sites? The alternative is limiting your choices of what sites you can access, your bandwidth to each site, and the amount you are allowed to download before being cut off.
It is fine right now because the FCC prevents corporations from manipulating it.
I can not choose whatever brand of bread I want from the grocery store. Nor am I charged to enter the grocery store. Competition keeps their prices low so they can compete with other grocery stores.
Now Imagine if you were charged to enter a grocery store, had to sign a contract.. but then you yearned for a particular brand of bread. You couldn't get it, unless you purchased a contract with another grocery store. But neither of those stores had the jelly you liked, so you had to have another contract for another grocery store.
Guys, the FCC has been stepping in to ensure we have equal access to the Internet. This has been going on for years.
Bmovies,
Until last year, the FCC was heavily involved with what we consider net neutrality. It was in the Brady X case where they lost control of the Internet. They actually were involved with cases to ensure it was maintained, until that Brady X case.
Sorry, I mean Brand X.
