Why do so many people hate Twilight more than any other books?

I understand that some people aren't into that whole vampire thing, I get that. But people don't hate other vampire books as much.

There are tons of books that people don't like, but they don't obsess over how much they hate it. Why this series. It's okay if you don't like it, but I want to know why these books in particular?

Please no answers like "it's gay .. it's stupid" Can I have a real answer?

i have no clue.
im a twilight fan so my answer will be biased.
i guess they just didn't get into it at the right time and they just say they hate it because they were late on the craze. idk.
