I think it ironic because they act with the same closed minded disdain and judgment that fanatical extremist religious people do.
You must be kidding if you don't see what i am saying. Read the comments on youtube on religious debates or the comments on yahoo answers or all the TONS of people with names like, "JesusStinks" etc..
Also, I have complete respect for Atheists and have no bad feeling towards them as a group whatsoever. I think everyone should try to respect and understand each others beliefs. But judging from the comments here many do not agree with the ideas of tolerance respect and inclusiveness. And i think that is a shame.
I am NOT speaking about ALL atheists i am just asking why it seems so common.
I used to be an atheist myself and my entire family is still.
re: Exjwpsy I am sorry to hear you had bad experiences but what you are saying is kind of like if i said i had bad experiences with black people so now it is ok for me to bash black people and it is totally normal. We should look at people as individuals. Just because i am Christian does not mean I would hurt anyone the way that other hurt you. I just want people to get along and respect each other. peace.
