Why do so many guys talk about their EX on the first date? don't they know this

Some people make their romantic relationships their whole lives. People like that have nothing else to discuss once the relationship is over.

The best thing to do is to never date a guy that is fresh out of a serious relationship. You are only going to be a rebound if you get involved, anyway.
 
loll and they all do it to!. Like a bunch of cry babies wanting to tell you as if you'd care to even get involved. Its very common and its such a downer!!! I would just polietely say do we need to talk about this on the first day? I'm more interested in learning about you (they'll like that)
 
is the worst thing to discuss? It turns me off - makes me wonder if he is seeking some kind of FREE therapist, instead of a date.

The same reason guys will also insult you and compliment you in the same sentence. Or not even that, they will insult you, but later or earlier compliment you. The same reason some guys bring books on dates.
