Why do so many Conservatives say Bin Laden was killed in the Iraq war?

For anyone that wants proof: Search on this site for Bin Laden dead. It's that simple, and it's obvious they're all Conservatives that claim it.

I have never heard that. I have heard conservatives calling for more troops to search Afghanistan Pakistan and now Somalia

I've never heard anyone say Bin Laden is in Iraq. That would be pretty stupid of him, wouldn't it? If he's not dead he's probably in Pakistan or Afghanistan.
