Why do so many christians (and some atheist) here look at other cultures from...

...their perspective? I see a lot of people on this site bash orthodox jews and muslim for modest dress, mostly the hijab or burka... but I have a hard time understanding why. I know that some women are forced to, but that's not par. Why do we always say 'that's opressive' when a woman WANTS to cover her body?

And I do mean in that situation alone.
Lots of women WANT to cover their bodies, even in the desert.
