Why do people want us to do their homework for

them? I see it on this section and on other YA sections all the time. I mean they have sparknotes which is for free so you don't have to go out and buy it. There's google and wikipedia is pretty good as well. I just don't get why people want us to do their homework for them. Ok they're lazy, but what kind of person wants to cheat and then at the end of their life know nothing? Its disgusting.
I meant sparknotes online is free.
Viva, asking for help with your hw is one thing, but if someone asks, I want to know that they tried on their own first, but when people want us to completely do it for them is another. So that's what I'm against.
 
I did wonder why myself some time back.

But, then again, in the corporate world, it doesn't really matter whether you do work yourself or convince others to do it for you and then take the credit. (Like it or loathe it, in some circles that's the way it is.)

So, maybe Yahoo Answers is just a training ground where the corporate rats of tomorrow can work out which techniques (for making others do their work) succeed and which don't. I doubt anyone asking for homework answers is thinking in this vein, though!
 
Coming from a teenager who does have occasional trouble with her homework, it would be nice to take a look at things from our perspective once in a while and consider the possibility that they truly need homework help and they have no one to ask besides the people of the Internet. My parents only have a high school degree and it sucks sometimes. Do you think I can go to them for homework help for everything? No, I can't. Mainly because I take advanced classes and I have no one to turn to. And before you rudely consider telling me to get a tutor, I think you people really should think about the reasons teens ask questions on Yahoo! Answers.

I don't understand the kind of laziness and stupidity are running rampart these days. The scary thing is that these kids who do this are the ones who will be ruling the world soon. I'm gonna need a underground bombproof shelter.
