I am shocked that people are still offended by the images or when you talk about it you get the sense some people are ashamed or view it as suicide?
Personally I think that the images will be more valuable and important in the future to really understand what transpired on that day.
You can easily pass off photos of burnt buildings or wrecked cities from wars etc, but when you see images of Holocaust victims for example the image of person/people will serve as a true depiction of the horror which you cannot hide from or deny.
