Why do people think Harley Davidsons are so great when they aren't even that good

really? I mean Air cooled V twin? Liquid cooling has been perfected folks! Less damage from heat in a liquid cooled engine. Less vibration with a four or six. more power too

Because the non motorcycling public doesn't know any better. Anyone that knows about motorcycles know that Japanese motorcycles are a lot bettter in all aspects. Be great if Harleys actually were as great as people think they are! American made and all! be nice, but the fact is they aren't!

I agree they are too big, and also too expensive... A 125 or 150cc is plenty, and less to fall on you if you ever get into a spectacular crash.
