Why do people think dead baby jokes are funny?

The other night my friend was spouting off one dead baby joke after another and they're just horrible to listen to! Seriously! Why do people think it's funny to joke about mutilating a dead baby?
 
What´s the difference between a car and a pile of dead babies?







I don´t have a car in my garage.




It´s just shock value. Just tell only 3 of them, and that´s it. The shock just wears off after a while and then you are just plain creepy.
 
I think it's just the shock value of it and people are like "omg hahaha"

It's just jokes.

Tho, i admit, i hate when ppl tell like a million of them. they get old after a while.

I've never even heard of a dead baby joke, but if I had, I'm sure it would be horrible.
I could never laugh at death, especially the death of something as innocent as an infant.
