I mean, these people believe that a book of Jewish fairytales is the absolute, infallible truth. They believe that an invisible god invented by Bronze Age nomads to explain the things they didn’t understand, will end the world when he wants it to end. In other words, “Don’t worry about producing atmospheric carbon at a rate that has never before happened in the entire history of the world because God will end the world when he wants it to end!”
Sure, people have a right to voice their concerns about the accuracy of climate change data and they have a right to question the motives of climate change proponents, but if the people with the loudest skeptical voices believe in this fairytale religious nonsense and have a track record of doubting science where it conflicts with their idiotic beliefs, should the rest of society pay them any attention at all?
