WHY do people say to get married at 25 + and then tell young adults not to have sex

until they are married? Now I am not going to ahve sex until i get married, but when you have found the right one, why should you wait until you are 25 or so if you already have a university degree? I think it is very unrealistic to expect people to wait until they are close to thirty to finally be intimate.


(especially if you have been going out since before university)
 
It's because a lot of young married couples end up divorcing. But the fact that you have a university degree says a lot and it may be the right time for you to get married.

Though it is not unrealistic to wait until 30 to have sex. Plenty of people do it.
 
Your more mature at 25 then at 18. You have an education and your life is well on it's way
 
you don't necessairly HAVE to wait until you're 25 or older to get married, but often people wait until they're out of college and have stable jobs and have made a life for themselves so that they can have financial stability for when they get married. i know people who have gotten married in or just after college and they did just fine, but typically people wait until they're out of college.
 
i think people should have sex whenever they want to have sex.
within reason.
i think its disgusting to have sex at too young an age. i think people should not be allowed to have sex until they are 18 or older, and i can say that because i am 17 >_>
one of my friends had sex for the first time when she was 11. she is currently going on 18, and a baby.
my own sister had sex at 14, which isnt as bad, but still degrading.
they were both babies when they had sex. babies dont have right to have sex. its utterly disgusting.
at 18 people are adults and can do what they want. more power to them. but less than that is ridiculous.
