Hello everyone. I have been doing a lot research to educate myself about African American history. My research tells me that a lot of people believe that black people have a grudge over slavery. Why do they say that? Before you say that it is true, I want you to think about what happened after slavery. The Jim Crow laws end in 1964, and African Americans got their voting rights in 1965. My grandmother, who is still alive, was born in 1917, and my father was born in 1946. Even though they wouldn’t have been slaves, I think they would have gone through a great deal of hardship. I would just like to hear your experiences. I would also like to know where I could find more information.
