PS2 I modded so I can play back up games, Xbox I modded so I can play back up games and have a really cool dash board while emulating several systems.
My question is, you have users people that install operating systems such as Ubuntu Linux on the Xbox and I did it just to do it, but why is the reason people do this. One thought comes to mind that a lot of teenanger or some teenangers don't have the computer in the their room and so they use a gaming console, modify it so they are able to get online. This is the reason I come to when I try to understand it and I can see others, geek tech savvy, myself cause I did it just to do it and see what cool things I can do but really, I enjoy the fact that I can emulate several systems and the OS is overrated IMO. so is it because they want to get online and don't have a computer in the room.
