i use to watch hockey when iwas younger, but stopped after the Lockout or whatever
i started watching again, and have noticed many people love Maple Leaf Gardens.

can you just explain to me why people love it? what was so special about it?
why did the leafs stop playing there?

just wondering

OK, people love it because it is the only building of it's kind left. It's counterparts like the Montreal Forum and Boston Garden have been torn down or converted. It's a relic of hockey history.

As for why the Leafs stopped playing there, the main cause was not enough space. And they didn't have room to expand being that the stadium is in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Looks like it will probably be converted into a supermarket, but will retain a hockey rink for a local team to play on. Too bad, I would have liked to see it stay a real stadium.

that is as elusive as who built the pyramids..a great mystery in the universe...you will have a better chance in finding the beginning of the universe than why people follow the leafs
