Why do people like to blame the military?

I've seen a couple people here tonight more or less bashing our troops , saying how they kill people and whatnot. Yes, it is true that they kill people (most of whom probably did not deserve to die), but I just don't see how you can badmouth these people when they put their lives on the line for our safety and freedom. I mean, do you think they WANT to kill people? Of course they don't. They want to protect. If anybody should be taking flack for the situation we're currently in, it's Bush. Those who are in our military are simply following orders for our protection. Without the military we would all be dead or worse, so just shut up about our troops!!

Well, you said, "they say the troops kill people," then, in the following sentence, you agreed. In that case, what are people "blaming" on the military? To protect our country during a war, killing is a necessity. Thus, the person that said "the troops kill people" are only stating the obvious. In other words, how are you positive that the person or people that made the claim meant the troops "wanted to kill people?"
