Why do people like Honda Civics?

So basically if your not poor then why would you buy one?

I am asking this because this mexican in my school thinks his souped up civic is so fast so I got my friend to race him and he has a
BMW 335xi (he is rich) and they raced a 1/4 mile and the civic was only a little over half done when we finished(I was in the car). Then he just drove off all mad it was great.
So why by one I am very confused?
 
I Agree with you. I guess people just like them because they don't have to spend too much to get fixed and they are reliable. I would take a European car over that any day.
