Why is it that people include things that are from culture in Islam? In Islam it says that walk away from arguments if they are not valid or useful in some way, but in Asian culture, walking away from parents is a form of disrespect.
Another example is, I was raised not to talk to anyone of the opposite gender because its "against" Islam, but when I looked into it, Islam says you may socialize.
Since this was a false statement by my parents involving culture once again in Islam, now it leads me to another question, what is the importance of trust in the islamic religion.
I forgot to mention, Islam also says to respect parents.
I am really confused right now, someone help me before my brain explodes...
