New York, Boston, and Philadelphia are well known to take their sports teams WAY too seriously. Boston is probably at the top with Philly coming next and New York coming in third.
I think that it's like that with the people of those cities because there isn't much to do in those cities.
I mean, what else are you going to do in Boston besides go to school or go to work? Go fishing at the harbor? I would say amongst kids it would have to be go outside and play sports or just be inside all day.
In Philadelphia it has to be the same way.
But in New York there is a little more that people can do but it ain't much. So that's why I said that they came in thrid.
Out on the West Coast, especially in Los Angeles, people do take sports seriously but not as bad as the north east.
There's just more to do in L.A. People can go to the beach, go to all the theme parks they got, go to vegas which is only about a 5 hour drive away. And kinds of other crap.
But the east coasters don't got all that up in the North besides enjoying their sports.
