Tints as dark as I'm referring to are not legal on cars. Not in Connecticut anyway, but a LOT of people in the ghetto, mostly the uneducated ones I would guess, have dark tints on their cars. And when the cops pull them over for it, if they happen to be Black or Hispanic they say the cop is profiling them (especially if they have drugs or a gun in the car).
Wouldn't it make more sense to not draw attention to yourself in areas where the police are known to hassle you for things like that?
