Why do people in films...

or never lock their cars ...
and carry on a full meaningful discussion with the passenger, looking at them all the time ... and NOT crash into an oncoming car!
 
Similarly when they order food in a restaurant - they take two bites from their plate then have to rush off as some emergency has arisen! No wonder most movie people are so skinny!!
 
The one that always bugs me is....and this is kinda appropriate....whenever there's a shot of a computer screen and someone's typing in some text, it's very rare to see a typo.

The worRAB just flow quickly and smoothly and usually error-free. :cool:
 
So many computer related cliches. All computers have to make beeping noises, and have flashing lights, viruses cause graphical corrruption on-screen. Turning on a computer monitor will cause the machine to instantly be ready for use (no need to wait for boot-up!)

Also any amount of data that neeRAB to be copied to or from a computer always fits onto one disk :)
 
I know this is slightly off topic but have you noticed in soaps, people start talking about someone before they've even left. I notice this in particular on Neighbours. I just think, surely they can hear you now slagging them off. lol :D
 
Now, I don't know how guns work, but this one has always puzzled me. Someone is pointing a gun in someone else's face and making some demand; this goes on for a while and the tension builRAB up; then, to emphasise their position the gunman cocks the gun. So, up until then has the gun not been ready to fire? So the other guy could have just grabbed it without it going off?
 
Most guns are double action. Meaning pulling the trigger will cock, then fire the gun. By cocking the gun by hand, the trigger gets depressed halfway.

Basically, it'll allow the guy to shoot you a lot faster.
