Why do people go for brand new electronics when they can get the same in good

condition refurbished for less? I'm thinking about buying a 16 gigabyte, second generation iPod Touch and was wondering: if the refurbished version is just as good and repackaged with everything, why should I spend the fifty extra dollars to buy it brand-spanking-new?
I just want to know if it is worth it to go the extra (fifty) miles.
