ethinics groups in America? I always hear or see some one looking at others funny or trying to tell others what or how they should act or dress. What makes them think everyone should be a clone of there taste.

Why black? Anyone of any race can look down at another for just being different. It's not that they're trying to be disrespectful, they just find it strange. For example, if you saw a man painted in purple walking around in nothing but a towel and sandals, what would you think?

Maybe you'd tell him to put some clothes on, maybe you'd tell him he looks like an idiot. And what if he tells you it's HIS culture and he can express his beliefs any way he pleases. Of course, you'd still think he's strange, what this person considers normal another might find strange. And of course by you I don't mean you. Just trying to make sense here XP

And people DO tend to stare when they see something out of the norms. They're curious and they'll stare. They don't mean to be rude. As Humans we tend to be very curious about certain things. That's all.

But again, the "especially blacks." was uncalled for. There's no need to mention a race in this question. Is skin color an excuse for how you behave? I think it's more likely the environment or parenting that makes people open minded/close minded about things, not the color.

What are either one of you talking about? I have Mexican friends, Indian friends, atheist friends. We have white, Mexican, Asian, Puerto Rican in our family. My experience has been that black people embrace people of other races and religions because more than most Americans, we know exactly what it's like to be discriminated against for trivial things.

of their taste*

btw I dress how ever I wanna, I never heard or saw a black person to dress like them. I usually only heard white valley girls do that.

You don't have to generalize, 'cause not all black people disrespects other cultures.

No really have to get real. You cannot put all black people in a box just because you've known someone to do this.

Actually black people are some of the most accepting and inviting people I know. Given our history in the U.S. it's heartwarming, encouraging and beautiful to witness how we open our homes, lives and hearts to many outside our ethnic groups.

You shouldn't generalize a whole race of people. Not everyone thinks the same way. I'm hoping your educated enough to understand that.
