Why do people complain when Black-Americans deny African heritage?

You dont see Europeans complaining to Whites for rejecting european heritage..And Blacks Americans have more of a right to call ourselves American than most whites do..

So whats all the fuss..We clearly have two different cultures..
 
No one complains, no one cares. They obviously have different cultures, plus i've said this a thousand times don't say it like the whole continent of Africa is the same. It's a continent not a country.
 
I think its better that white and black americans dont associate with the continents of their ancestors because i think both make the people from their countries of origin look bad.

Most hated country for a reason.
 
I know.... If some one called me African I would yell at them. And I don't know anything about "African Heritage" so why would I even claim it? Afrocentric black people always think that most black people are self haters because we don't want to claim "african heritage". I'm not African... I was born in America. So was everyone in my family. they need to let it go. No one can make me change my ways of thinking

No one is asking to claim your african heritage or anything
but just do not act like you are somehow better than where you came from because it is true whether you like it or not

white people do not deny their european heritage at all.

they are always talking about how they're part scottish and part italian and all this other stuff.

i think its important that we claim our heritage since so much of it has been robbed from us.
