why do people complain to sony about ps3 not playing ps2 games?

the reason why i ask this is because even if your ps3 can play ps2 games you will have to start the games all over again... cuz u cant import ur game saves plus remember the 1st and 2nd generation ps3s the ones that can play ps2 are prone to the yellow light of death.... personally when i think of this im happy with my ps2 slim and new 80gb ps3 cuz it cant get yellow light of death and i can play ps1 games but i never do that cuz you can just play them on ps2 and computer I THINK IT WAS A GOOD MOVE BY SONY..

what do have against this and why plz answer question...???

and if you really do love playing old ps2 games just buy a ps2 slim simple cuz it will play ps2 games just fine unlike some ps3s cant play ps2 games properly....
