Why do people come on here to diss every branch of the military that they weren't in?

Respect

I leave for basic for the army in October but I respect marines, air force, navy, nat guard and all the rest.
What really gets me is these guys who spend 4 years in and think there the sh*t but didn't re-sign a 2nd contract and still consider themselves military. Anyway,I'm for the military and I'm for America. I don't care what branch your in.
reserve nat guard is silly as hell! Lol
There is retired military and ex-military as far as Im concerned.

because some people just feel the need to act ignorant, it's a genetic need. Its even worse for people like Euridite, who just hates ALL the people that protect his freedom, he also lies and says he was in the Army, but his story has been proven to be faulty over and over again

What does not re-enlisting have to do with anything? Just because someone serves 10 years does not mean he is better then someone who serves four years.

That is stupid if you think that way. That would be like me saying reserve troops such as national guardsmen are silly because they only serve 38 days a year unless activated.

Are you honestly saying that those who serve four years and get out are not military?

Once you are in, you will understand.

We all respect each other and the differences that are necessary to make a well rounded national defense for our fine country, however, everyone knows that it's the Army that does all the work! HOOAH!

LOL...

I'll talk smack about Marines or Army Grunts or whatever, but I have respect for them. I've never worked with Navy personnel while I was in the Army, but I work with them now, but still have no issue with them.

I was in a National Guard Combat Engineer unit for four years before I went Active Duty, and those guys worked harder than most Active Duty units I know of. They were constantly in the field and training their butts off. During a activation after a natural disaster, they worked solid the two weeks we were out, so I had no problems with them. Like most things, it depends on what kind of unit you're with.

I do have an issue with the Air Force and how they baby and coddle their people (PJs and Combat Controllers being the exception). That I learned through personal experience from doing missions with AF personnel and having them to be completely worthless or totally unprofessional.
