LOL I play a word game (Literati) online and see cheaters on it all the time. It is ridiculous. I think they simply want to get the high of that "win" over someone else even though it is not really a win. They are the type of people that would steal a fancy car and drive around in it wanting people to envy them when they did not earn it.
