Why do people call homosexuality a "lifestyle?"?

I have always heard homophobes saying that they don't accept the "gay lifestyle," that being gay is all about sexual pleasure and has nothing to do with actual love.

Let me ask you this: if that is what homosexuality is all about, then why are they fighting so hard to have the right to get married? You only marry someone you love and always want to be with, right?

If anyone disagrees with me and thinks that homosexuality is "immoral," i would love to debate.
 
You obviously need to investigate the true meaning of marriage.
