Why do people spend so much time reading gossip about celebrities, be gamers, or write fan-fiction? What is it that causes people to do this? Is it just to escape from life?
because people need an escape. they want to care about something other than themselves. or they just like doing that. people want what's "hot" "popular" and "now" so that other people think that they are all those things.
