Why do people associate boots with sex? I just bought a nice pair of?

knee-high boots. I thought they would look nice with a sweater dress. I showed them to my guy friend at work (we ask each other's opinion on fashion sometimes) and he said "OOoooh, your boyfriend will be happy!"

So...does that mean they are not appropriate for work?

Some people actually look sexy in boots and he was only saying your bf will love them on you.He didn't say anything about sex.You just took it the wrong way.Nothing wrong in looking good.
