Why do people argue over consoles, like Xbox 360 VS PS3?

Because lets face it. Who ever owns a PS3 is always going to back it up 100% because if they didn't they'd feel like they just lost over £300. Same with the Xbox 360. And those who wish to know which one is better, just look at what each console offers and then choose from that. Don't listen to what other people say, most of them are biased. Just as biased and stupid as me saying, dont buy either next-gen console, just go and buy a dreamcast, that's better. But in the other hand its a matter of preference.
 
Its like you said, people are going to back what they own. I have both, but personally I like the ps3 more. I enjoy the exclusives better, they appeal my taste, i also like the blu ray features as well. Thats not to say xbox 360 doesn't have its upsides too.
